About this Presenter

Jennifer Krill heads Earthworks, a US-based grassroots and policy group that works to empower communities and protect the environment from the impacts of extractive industries. Jennifer does not believe in sacrifice zones and has worked for nearly two decades on local, national and international environmental campaigns. Her long term goal has been to lift the ecological footprint of North American corporations and empower community-based alternatives to thrive. Her short-term work includes honoring labor, fostering fossil fuel free transportation, hiking in the wilderness and learning from nature. She is a board member and co-founder of Plug In America, an organization committed to electrifying transportation, and also serves on the boards of Labor Network for Sustainability and Oil Change International.
